Dual Receivers

For a better 2.4 GHz wireless experience, the V6 Max comes with Type-C and Type-A receivers. Enjoy the quick plug-and-play time. Or, put them away in the keyboard magnetic storage slot at the top right corner.

An Epic Core Inside The Keyboard

A powerful ARM architecture MCU equipped with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box, which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.

OSA Profile Double-shot PBT Keycaps

These double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and has an SA-like shape. We named it the OSA (OEM spherical angled) keycap. The PBT keycaps will provide excellent oil resistance, enhance the type feel, and prevent the legends from fading out.

Gasket Mount Design

By adopting a gasket mount design along with a PC (Polycarbonate) plate, the V6 Max reduces acoustic resonance, delivering a softer and quieter typing experience with enhanced flexibility.

Program V6 Max with QMK & VIA

With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap each key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, even the knob, and more.

Get the V6 Max keymap working on VIA

Since the VIA code for the V6 Max is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized. Please download the appropriate keymap JSON file below, open VIA, turn on "Show Design tab" on "Settings" tab, and drag the JSON file into the “Design” tab on VIA to get the V6 Max keymap working on VIA.

Hot-swappable

The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.

South-facing RGB LED Lights

The south-facing RGB LED is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle with the premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the users install OEM or Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard.

Gateron Jupiter Switch

Our exclusive Gateron Jupiter mechanical switch (for the Fully Assembled version only) comes with a 3-pin design, its pre-lubed with a reliable Gateron quality standard with up to 80 million keystrokes lifespan. While their unique LED diffuser design offers high RGB backlight transmittance and softer backlight effect. The banana switch provides an early tactile bump at the top with a uniquely smooth experience like those Panda switches on the market.

Absolutely stunned with good quality!

I've bought fully assembled version of V6 Max with Gateron Jupiter Banana switches and can't believe how smooth and premium it feels. Initially I wanted to go for Q6, but couldn't due to budget. Compared to my previous keyboard with original Cherry MX browns, these switches, sound and typing experience feels heavenly! After using for some time and trying my old keyboard again, it felt really rusty rough and springy. The only difference I'd love to see would be the keycaps with transparent letters, but that's a minor issue compared to quality for the price paid.

My first custom keyboard, very pleased

I have owned a few mechanical keyboards, all of them from gaming-focused brands since gaming is my priority. This is my first custom keyboard, and I've chosen to go with the V6 Max thanks to RTINGS' review showing good latency results. Briefly speaking, I was surprised at the acoustics of this keyboard. I didn't know mechanic keyboards can get this quiet! And whatever is left of the typing noise is a very pleasing "thock", which makes me want to type more on this keyboard just for the satisfaction that comes from it. There's also something about this keyboard that makes my fingers get fatigued slower compared to my previous keyboard when playing rhythm games. I thought it's just due to the switches that I'm no longer "bottoming" so hard (having switched from Cherry MX Speed Silver to Gateron Jupiter Red), but I think the gasket mount is also contributing to this with its suspending effect, reducing feedback force from smacking keys? I don't know how far of a reach this is. The option to rebind anything is also great, allowing me to reuse the knob for backlight brightness control instead of volume.
My initial expressions are very positive and I think this keyboard is well worth the money, it's not that far off price-wise from my previous keyboards. If there was anything I was forced to suggest/complain about, it would be a wired-only version of this exact keyboard for a slight price reduction (other Keychron wired-only keyboards seem to suffer from bad latency, at least according to RTINGS' testing) as well as extra keycaps to bring back the appearance of normal Print Screen/Scroll Lock/Pause Break keys, and maybe a version with standard lock key status LEDs instead of 4 macro keys (I did eventually realize the keyboard uses backlight on lock keys as a replacement, but these are hard to see at a glance unless the lighting of the rest of the keys is off or on low brightness setting). But, all of these are just minor grievances I will likely get used to very quickly. Overall, excellent product, I hope it can serve me for long :)

Interesting surprise

I'm actually typing this on the V6 Max now so I guess it says something. I bought this after having bought the K10 Pro, which I had thought would be the last keyboard I'll ever buy, but because of a need for 2.4 GHz wireless at my office (too much interference for Bluetooth and a need to be able to swap computers without having to reconfigure BT multiple times), I opted for this one.

To be fair the polycarbonate plate at first perplexed me and I thought it was inferior quality vs the metal one on the K10 Pro, but after spending a day with it I realise now that it is indeed much quieter. So far I strongly recommend this keyboard, especially if you are like me in the daily need for a numpad. Having both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless is not a blessing, it's a requirement, and Keychron should change all their previous K10 models to include this necessary functionality, and the V6 Max doesn't fall short there at all.

My only complaint so far is that as stated above sicne the VIA code for the V6 Max is still awaiting approval from Github, it makes identifying it on the VIA app a bit annoying, but still pretty much doable. Also for some reason I can't get the RGB mode I prefer the most to work (a randomised reactive).

TL;DR: Highly recommended, super light, super comfortable, reasonably quiet (depending on the kind of switch you use), decent battery life.

Beautiful keyboard.

Replacing a V6 with a worn USB C port, decided to go wireless when I saw this. The V6 is tray mounted compared to this which is gasket mounted. The feel is so much more relaxed and all the key switches that sounded clunky in my V6 sound smooth, maybe even thocky. It is very superior compared to the V6. It is my perfect keyboard.
